The artist of these paintings, Joan Critz Limbrick, is also a Transpersonal Hypnotherapist and Reiki Master. She has found that doing energy work with others has enhanced and heightened her sense of color and her contact with the world beyond our normal sight.  Her incredible colors and images spring from the energy surrounding all of life.  Sometimes these images come first in dream form but most often they simply appear as she begins painting. These paintings take on a language of their own and seem to speak in personal experience to each viewer.  She remarks, "sometimes someone will tell me intimate details of how a painting spoke to them in a healing and loving way...and I feel I must have painted that painting just for that moment of connection...that connection between the painting and someone, unknown to me at the time, who would be touched by what the painting had to say.  Enlightenment comes in many forms and I feel being involved in the field of energetic healing has greatly enhanced my abilities to receive guidance from angels and other guides of Love and Light."
